Reducing Cost

A great way to reduce the cake cost is to order a smaller cake for the bride and groom, serving most of the guests from sheet cakes! Order less intricate individual wedding cakes for each reception table will also help reduce costs.

Flowers
Be sure to avoid fresh flowers such as Lily of the Valley, Poinsettia and Wisteria which are not food safe.


Freezing.

When saving the top tier of your cake, first place it in the freezer for about 5 hours to firm the icing, protecting the design. Next, remove the cake from the freezer and cover it with clear plastic wrap, sealing it in heavy alluminum foil to prevent freezer burn. Lastly, enclose the cake in the supplied bakery box and freeze.
